Jax Jones

From:London

DJ style:“Dance.”

Best known for:“‘You Don’t Know Me’, ‘Out Out’, ‘Where Did You Go’.”

In July this year, Jax Jones received an honorary business doctorate from London’s Brunel University. In a touching speech, in which he shouted out his mum and stepdad, who came to the UK from Malaysia and Nigeria respectively as young adults, he spoke about making music on a “£50 Mac computer” in his room in 2008, and the entrepreneurial spirit that led to him eventually, after years of graft, collaborating with Duke Dumont on the No.1 single ‘I Got U’ in 2014. Ten years later, he’s hit the Top 100 DJs poll for the first time, and he has that tireless work ethic to thank for it. In 2024, he’s released massive singles like ‘Never Be Lonely’ with Zoe Wees and ‘Tonight (D.I.Y.A)’ with Jason Derulo and Joel Corry, been remixed by Cascada, Pitbull and Scooter, and played events ranging from London Pride to Untold Festival in Romania. He also delivered his own remix of Girls Aloud’s ‘Love Machine’, and when promoters allegedly said it was “too risky to do a tour with me”, he arranged his own, which promptly sold out. He’s keeping the momentum up too, with an upcoming track in collaboration with rising star Sim0ne.

Best known for:“‘Piece Of Your Heart’, ‘Lose Control’, ‘Paradise’ and some other songs.”

Luca Gregorio, Mattia Vitale, and Simone Giani form MEDUZA. The trio’s pop-tinged house music tracks have gained them a devoted fan base worldwide, surmounted countless listens across all the streaming platforms, made daytime radio and stormed official chart positions across the globe. With effortlessly catchy vocals by the likes of Becky Hill, Goodboys and Dermot Kennedy, their productions delve into the worlds of pop and dance in equal measure. Their debut single ‘Piece Of Your Heart’ was released in 2019: an instant hit that shot them to fame, they’ve been unstoppable ever since. Their first release of this year was the single ‘Dola re Dola’, featuring Varun Jain and was a tribute to the Bollywood film Devdas. ‘Money (Can’t Save Us)’ featuring NY-born artist Alec Monopoly soon followed, and most recently for MEDUZA’s latest single ‘Another World’ they teamed up with British singer and songwriter HAYLA. In the live sphere, it’s often Vitale that takes the stage behind the decks, with sets designed for the peak time with plenty of snare rolls, euphoric breakdowns, trance basslines and the occasional sound of 303 acid.
