After finishing just outside of the Top 100 in 2021, this year German DJ and producer Cuebrick breaks in for the first time this year. He now sits at the top table of global dance music after standout shows everywhere from Los Angeles to San Francisco, Singapore to Bangkok.

While releasing big tunes on labels like Spinnin Records, Armada and Ultra Music, he also works as a radio-host on bigFM’s nitroX show, which is the biggest radio platform for electronic music in Germany.

This year he has worked on a new sound which he says “can best be described as a fusion of different elements from genres such as techno, hard techno, and trance. Hard techno kicks are the foundation, with classic trance synthesizers.” It’s a sound that has seemingly connected with fans, who will be pleased to learn Cuebrick has signed a deal meaning “Smash the House will be the main home for my music for at least the next two years.”

Marking their debut in the Top 100 DJs poll, Bronx-born brothers Stevie and Chris Martinez, better known as The Martinez Brothers, are signing off 2022 as one of the biggest years in their career. As well as dropping a handful of tracks this year — including a remix of the legendary Teddy Pendergrass — the Bros spent this summer headlining Hï Ibiza every Tuesday at their very own residency, joined by guests like Ash Lauryn, Fleur Shore, Kerri Chandler, Louie Vega and Paco Osuna. It marks a new chapter on the island for the duo, who were previously long-term residents at Ibiza’s DC-10. With sets and productions that range from deep, soulful house and uplifting rhythms, to a darker, dubbier take on the typical New York sound, the Bros have spent over a decade cementing themselves as two DJs and producers who can deliver each and every time. If you need further proof, their label, Cuttin’ Headz, is home to high-quality house tracks from the duo, alongside records from Andrea Oliva, Manchester’s AJ Christou, Guti, Luke Solomon and Loco Dice.
