DJ style:“High energy festival music.”
Best known for:“Getting the crowd going.”
Dutch dance duo W&W started 2023 with a big tour of China, performing their first shows since the pandemic. “It was great to be back,” W&W say. “All the shows were incredible, and the crowd was on fire.” They also played plenty of huge festival shows across Europe, popping up at AIRBEAT ONE, Parookaville and Open Beatz in Germany, Ultra and Day & Night in Croatia, Tomorrowland in Belgium, Frequency in Austria, and Creamfields in the UK, “a crazy summer tour that was arguably the best one so far in our career”, they add.
The prolific producers also managed to create a host of bangers this year, with fast and relentless tracks like ‘Gangster’, a collaboration with VINAI, and ‘Million Places’, made with R3HAB, part of their festival repertoire. ‘Kriss Kross’, a link-up with Da Tweekaz, boasted more precipitous drops than Everest.
“We’ve been releasing a lot of music, and we’re making tonnes of new music that we feel really excited about,” W&W say. The duo also put out loads of releases on their Rave Culture label from the likes of Andrew Rayel, Jay Hardway, Ben Nicky and Firebeatz. This November, catch them in Guatemala at the Road To Ultra event.
