Charlotte de Witte

From:Belgium

DJ style:Techno

Best known for:Highest-ranking techno DJ, and KNTXT brand.

No DJ list would feel complete without Charlotte de Witte. One of the key figures in the modern day techno scene, the Belgian DJ, producer and label head has remained true to the sound she knows and loves since her debut almost a decade ago, and is showing no signs of slowing down.

De Witte has maintained a steady output of releases over the past 12 months, with the ‘Power Of Thought’ EP landing in October last year, as well as two new singles: ‘Roar’ and ‘How You Move’, all via her own KNTXT imprint. Alongside her own releases on the label, KNTXT has become a home to tracks from Amazingblaze and Bulgarian techno duo Balthazar & JackRock this year, and hosted events in Montreal, New York, Miami and Manchester. KNTXT also returned to the 3,500-capacity Flanders Expo in de Witte’s hometown of Ghent, Belgium earlier this year for another techno takeover, and elsewhere, she’s been bringing her sound to festivals like Coachella, Creamfields, Panorama and Airbeat One, as well as making frequent appearances for Pyramid at Amnesia in Ibiza, playing Italy’s Cocorico club, and Factory Town in Miami. 2024 looks set to be another stormer for de Witte — kicking off in January and February with two highly-anticipated b2b sets with Amelie Lens b

Best known for:“‘Piece Of Your Heart’, ‘Lose Control’, ‘Paradise’ and some other songs.”

Luca Gregorio, Mattia Vitale, and Simone Giani form MEDUZA. The trio’s pop-tinged house music tracks have gained them a devoted fan base worldwide, surmounted countless listens across all the streaming platforms, made daytime radio and stormed official chart positions across the globe. With effortlessly catchy vocals by the likes of Becky Hill, Goodboys and Dermot Kennedy, their productions delve into the worlds of pop and dance in equal measure. Their debut single ‘Piece Of Your Heart’ was released in 2019: an instant hit that shot them to fame, they’ve been unstoppable ever since. Their first release of this year was the single ‘Dola re Dola’, featuring Varun Jain and was a tribute to the Bollywood film Devdas. ‘Money (Can’t Save Us)’ featuring NY-born artist Alec Monopoly soon followed, and most recently for MEDUZA’s latest single ‘Another World’ they teamed up with British singer and songwriter HAYLA. In the live sphere, it’s often Vitale that takes the stage behind the decks, with sets designed for the peak time with plenty of snare rolls, euphoric breakdowns, trance basslines and the occasional sound of 303 acid.
