The Milan-based duo of Alessandro Martello and Emanuele Longo have been rising through the ranks since first hitting the international scene a decade ago through a series of EPs released on Dim Mak, but it was their 2023 co-production with the French producer Naeleck, ‘Boyz In Paris’, that sent the pair to the upper echelons of festival royalty. Relentless touring hasn’t hurt, with Tomorrowland (both the Belgium and Brazil editions), Creamfields, Ministry of Sound, and Les Plages Electroniques just a few of the stops on their recent schedule. Their music has always had a bigger-than-big fist-pumping edge to it, but according to the duo, they’ve been refining their sound as of late: “Our sound is evolving to a more ‘rave’ environment,” they say, “with more techno and trance influences than before.”
As successful as they’ve been, they want more. Coinciding with their 10th anniversary, Martello and Longo are working on a new live show, set to debut next year. And there’s another new project on the way, too. “We plan to launch our own label by early 2025 to experiment further and, hopefully, also sign the next rising stars of the producer world,” they say.
