22Bullets is one of Bangkok’s biggest EDM exports and after clinching himself a Top 100 spot in 2021 for the first time, he’s managed to replicate his performance for 2022 — rising nine places. The Thai producer, real name Varun Sony, has had a screamer of a year with a laser focus on his productions. Perhaps most notable is his link-up with Fredde Le Grand on ‘Down’, which came right in the thick of festival season via Spinnin’ Records.

But the biggest activity for 22Bullets has been through his unreleased material; many of his tracks have been doing the rounds at festivals this year, although none of them have found a home for a proper release just yet. He also took to Twitter to express his gratitude for being able to do what he does. Needless to say, his lack of labels hasn’t slowed him down; he played major EDM festivals across the globe this year, and within all the chaos managed to produce his debut 10-track album which is his main focus for the remainder of 2022.

After finishing just outside of the Top 100 in 2021, this year German DJ and producer Cuebrick breaks in for the first time this year. He now sits at the top table of global dance music after standout shows everywhere from Los Angeles to San Francisco, Singapore to Bangkok.

While releasing big tunes on labels like Spinnin Records, Armada and Ultra Music, he also works as a radio-host on bigFM’s nitroX show, which is the biggest radio platform for electronic music in Germany.

This year he has worked on a new sound which he says “can best be described as a fusion of different elements from genres such as techno, hard techno, and trance. Hard techno kicks are the foundation, with classic trance synthesizers.” It’s a sound that has seemingly connected with fans, who will be pleased to learn Cuebrick has signed a deal meaning “Smash the House will be the main home for my music for at least the next two years.”
