It’s been a transformative period for Liv and Mim Nervo, or simply NERVO, as they are known to EDM heads across the globe. The Australian DJ duo both became mothers in 2019, and though they spent much of the pandemic offstage with toddlers, their schedules are picking up quite a lot. “It has been BUSY!!” the twin sisters confirm happily. The two haven’t slowed down between “touring, making music and raising babies”, with a stateside residency at Zouk Nightclub in Las Vegas, and international festivals like Switzerland’s BADABOOM and Halloween Strike in Seoul, South Korea, marking recent appearances.

Amid countless tour stops, the Top 100 mainstays continued to pump out their monthly NERVO Nation radio show, in addition to dropping originals like the upbeat cut ‘Unbreakable’ with Nataliya Nikitenko, and the piano house groove ‘Flames’ (feat. Salena Mastroianni) earlier this spring. In addition to building their discography, they’ve assumed the role of producing music for others, though this isn’t exactly new territory for NERVO, who’ve been credited on songs alongside pop stars like Miley Cyrus, Kylie Minogue, Ke$ha and lots more.

After finishing just outside of the Top 100 in 2021, this year German DJ and producer Cuebrick breaks in for the first time this year. He now sits at the top table of global dance music after standout shows everywhere from Los Angeles to San Francisco, Singapore to Bangkok.

While releasing big tunes on labels like Spinnin Records, Armada and Ultra Music, he also works as a radio-host on bigFM’s nitroX show, which is the biggest radio platform for electronic music in Germany.

This year he has worked on a new sound which he says “can best be described as a fusion of different elements from genres such as techno, hard techno, and trance. Hard techno kicks are the foundation, with classic trance synthesizers.” It’s a sound that has seemingly connected with fans, who will be pleased to learn Cuebrick has signed a deal meaning “Smash the House will be the main home for my music for at least the next two years.”
